For instance, the country guitar set might have RealTracks for rhythm, soloing, fills, etc.

On your download page, you will see a list of files that you need to download for each RealTracks set. The most important file is the first one on the list - "Band-in-a-Box and RealBand 20xx". This file contains the main program and some essential files that you need to run Band-in-a-Box. You should download and install this file first, before downloading any other files.

The rest of the files are content installer files that contain the RealTracks and other features (such as RealDrums, MIDI SuperTracks, etc.). You can download these files one by one, or use the Download Manager tool that is included in the Band-in-a-Box program. The Download Manager allows you to download multiple files at once, and automatically install them when they are finished.

  • Run Band-in-a-Box and go to the Help menu Utilities Run Download Manager.

  • Verify the download folder and the Band-in-a-Box install folder. You can change them if you want.

  • Select the files that you want to download and install. You can use the checkboxes or the buttons at the bottom to select all or none.

  • Click the large "Download/Install Selected Files" button at the top. The Download Manager will start downloading the files and installing them when they are done.

  • Wait until all the files are downloaded and installed. You can monitor the progress on the Download Manager window.

  • When everything is finished, close the Download Manager and restart Band-in-a-Box.
